The following image contains:

• Spark 1.6.0 with Scala 2.10.5 and Java 1.7.0
• Hadoop 2.6.0

⁠Usage

• In order to pull the image run this command:

docker pull ven7u/spark-quickstart

• Create and Start the container with:

docker run -d --name spark-quickstart \
-p 8088:8088 -p 8042:8042 -p 4040:4040 -p 2122:2122 -p 50070:50070  \
-h spark-quickstart-sandbox \
ven7u/spark-quickstart -d

• After that the container is created you cn stop it using:

docker stop spark-quickstart

• And restart it with:

docker start spark-quickstart

⁠SSH connection

• Username: root
• Password: root

ssh -p 2122 root@localhost

SFTP is also available at port: 2122
