⁠Docker usage guidance

⁠PULL Image

$ docker pull venkataratnamb20/react-test:latest

⁠RUN container

Syntax: $ docker run -d -p <External port to be>:<docker internal port>--name <custom name> venkataratnamb20/react-test:latest
$ docker run -d -p 3000:3000 --name react-test-dev venkataratnamb20/react-test:latest Above command generates a id.

⁠check the log file to see more information like running status

$ docker logs <id created during docker run command>

⁠check running processes

$ docker ps

⁠check all processes

$ docker ps -a

⁠stop running

$ docker stop <image id or image name>

⁠Eenter container environment

$ docker exec -it <name> bash

⁠Remove docker

• To remove docker: $ docker rm <name>
• To remove image: $ docker rmi <name or id>
• To remove all stopped containers: docker rm $(docker ps --filter status=exited -q)
• To remove container and its volumes $ docker rm -v <name>
