⁠Vineyard Kubernetes Operator

This is a Kubernetes operator for Vineyard, an in-memory data management system on Kubernetes.

⁠Prerequisites

Before deploying this operator, you must have:

• Kubernetes cluster (version 1.16 or later) with RBAC enabled
• kubectl and helm command-line tool installed and configured to communicate with your cluster

⁠Installation

To install the Vineyard Kubernetes operator, you can use the following helm command:

$ helm repo add vineyard https://vineyard.oss-ap-southeast-1.aliyuncs.com/charts/
$ helm install vineyard-operator vineyard/vineyard-operator

This will deploy the operator in your cluster.

⁠Usage

To use the Vineyard Kubernetes operator, you can create a Vineyard custom resource in your cluster. Here's an example:

apiVersion: k8s.v6d.io/v1alpha1
kind: Vineyardd
metadata:
  name: vineyardd-sample
  # don't use default namespace
  namespace: vineyard-system
spec:
  replicas: 3

This will create a Vineyard cluster with three instances. You can customize the configuration by modifying the spec section.
