⁠Exams Creator: "The Future Is Smart People Who Are Interested In Science"

The creator of one of the most successful online exam simulators, Exams, graduated from high school this year. The educational startup, which he came up with in the 10th grade, turned out to be so successful that in just a few months it grew into a promising project with ambitious plans and a team of like-minded people.

You graduated from high school with a gold medal. Where did you go? Is your future profession related to computer technology?
I entered the Rostov Southern Federal University at the Faculty of Sociology. Well, I'm not really an IT guy, I'm more interested in marketing, advertising, economics and everything like that. Sociology just provides knowledge that can be applied in marketing.

What or who inspires you in the project? You got off to such a good start, are there any plans to make any major breakthrough?

They are inspired by successful entrepreneurs such as Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, large tech companies: Google, Apple, Facebook, SpaceX, Tesla. Of course, I want to do something that will qualitatively transform the education system. The future is not for the working class, but for smart people who are interested in science, I believe. There should be more of them.

What do you think is a good teacher? Were there teachers in school who influenced you?
As I said, the main thing for me is an interesting presentation of the material. So I choose teachers who can tell interesting stories and give unusual examples, speak the language of our audience. That is why the emphasis is on young teachers. Yes, there were many good teachers in the school, they all influenced me to some extent.

In your opinion, how is your generation fundamentally different from, say, your parents? For example, in relation to school or work, to life.
Generations are certainly different: we grow with technology, it has a certain impact on a person. I believe that we, our generation, are more inclined towards innovations, towards something new. In addition, we live in a stream of information, so we perceive it a little differently.

Are there any educational projects - ours or foreign ones - that seem successful to you?

While I plan to engage in education, it is not limited to only one exam. And there, how life will turn out - I do not know. Space, artificial intelligence are interesting things, but so far knowledge and experience are not quite enough for this.
