vlasticz/ipcalc repository overview

ipcalc

A modern, lightweight web-based IPv4 subnet calculator. Single static Go binary served over HTTP — multi-arch image (linux/arm64 + linux/amd64), ~20 MB.

Quick start

docker run -d --name ipcalc \
  -p 8080:8080 \
  -v "$PWD/data:/data" \
  vlasticz/ipcalc:latest

Then open http://localhost:8080.

Features

  • Single-subnet calculator with kjokjo/ipcalc parity plus modern warning chips (RFC1918, link-local, multicast, loopback, public).
  • Subnetting modes: equal-N split and VLSM (variable-length, host-count list).
  • Anonymous save / list / view of past calculations, persisted in SQLite.
  • Live HTMX updates, locale-aware number formatting, dark theme with cyan / amber / green accent picker.
  • /healthz endpoint and self-probing -healthcheck flag for container liveness — no curl needed in the runtime image.
