Web based amateur radio logging application.
8.9K
Cloudlog is self hosted HAM-radio amateur logging solution (https://github.com/magicbug/Cloudlog)
To make the installation easier I created a Docker image to make the installation even more easy than the original setup.
You need a MySQL (or MariaDB) database and this image needs some volume shares to store configuration data, I use docker-compose for my running version.
version: '3.4'
services:
cloudlog:
image: waarlandit/cloudlog
container_name: cloudlog
volumes:
- ./volume/config:/var/www/html/application/config
- ./volume/backup:/var/www/html/application/backup
- ./volume/uploads:/var/www/html/application/uploads
expose:
- "80"
mysql:
image: mariadb:10.3
env_file:
- env/mysql.env
volumes:
- ./volume/mysql:/var/lib/mysql
expose:
- "3306"
On the first start it will create the configuration files and you will need to go to: http:///install/index.php
This will ask for some basic information about you and the database, when you are done and saved everything you will see at: http:// the Cloudlog website. Restart the image to clean up the installation folder, it understands you have setup the initial configuration.
The 9.x.2.1 version serves Cloudlog 2.1. If you are upgrading from Cloudlog 1.x the easiest way is to export your logs from the old version and start over with this version and import your logs. Migrating from Cloudlog 1.x to 2.x with Docker is not very reliable.
if you made a mistake and want to start over with the configuration you need to delete all tables from the database and remove the configuration files from your volume share. Start the container again and it will be ready for setup again.
Have fun, Ron (PA3RPW)
