osTicket is a open source ticket system that does the job. It's easy to use and well maintained. My docker image is a simple solution, the only thing you need is a running mySQL/mariaDB server.
There was no good working container and I wanted one.
Well, You need some system variables:
MYSQL_ROOT_PASSWORD=<password>
MYSQL_DATABASE=<db name>
MYSQL_USER=<db username>
MYSQL_PASSWORD=<db password>
MYSQL_PREFIX=<table prefix>
MYSQL_HOST=<name of the db container>
MYSQL_PORT=3306
Example
MYSQL_ROOT_PASSWORD=r00tp4ssw0rd
MYSQL_DATABASE=osticketdb
MYSQL_USER=osticketuser
MYSQL_PASSWORD=0st1ck3tp4ssw0rd
MYSQL_PREFIX=ost_
MYSQL_HOST=mysql
MYSQL_PORT=3306
If you want to use a template to give the webinterface a fancier look you need a volume mount where you put your files. I use a docker-compose.yml like this:
version: '3.4'
services:
mysql:
image: mariadb:10.3
env_file:
- env/mysql.env
volumes:
- ./volume/var/lib/mysql:/var/lib/mysql
- ./volume/backup/mysql:/backup
ports:
- 127.0.0.1:3306:3306
expose:
- "3306"
osticket:
image: waarlandit/osticket
depends_on:
- mysql
env_file:
- env/osticket.env
volumes:
- ./volume/web:/template
ports:
- 0.0.0.0:80:80
I use a nginx proxy that handles the https traffic and send it to osTicket on port 80..
