⁠WordPress with Custom Themes and Plugins

A WordPress Docker image that automatically copies custom themes and plugins from mounted volumes at container startup.

⁠Features

• Based on wordpress:php8.2-fpm
• Runtime copying of custom themes and plugins from external volumes
• Automatic permission fixing
• Multi-architecture support (AMD64, ARM64)

⁠Usage

⁠Docker Run

docker run -d \
  -p 8080:80 \
  -v /path/to/your/custom-themes:/external/custom-themes \
  -v /path/to/your/custom-plugins:/external/custom-plugins \
  wakeflybrabidou/wordpress-copy:latest

⁠Docker Compose

⁠Volume Mounts

• /external/custom-themes - Mount your custom themes directory here
• /external/custom-plugins - Mount your custom plugins directory here

The container will automatically copy contents from these mounted directories to the appropriate WordPress locations at startup.

⁠GitHub Actions

This repository includes automated Docker Hub deployment via GitHub Actions. The workflow builds and pushes images on:

• Push to main/master branch
• Pull requests
• Manual workflow dispatch

⁠Setup for Development

1. Clone this repository
2. Place your custom themes in custom-themes/ directory
3. Place your custom plugins in custom-plugins/ directory
4. Build and run with Docker Compose or Docker commands above
