⁠RCON monitor and management tool for Rust Dedicated Server

This image provides basic functions to interact with Rust Dedicated Server via RCON websocket administration interface.

⁠Usage

⁠Pull the latest version

docker pull wallesdocks/rust-rcon:latest

⁠Run one of the provided commands

• send: sends specified RCON command to the server and prints the response message data
  RCON command list: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Rust_Dedicated_Server⁠
  get server version data:
  docker run -it wallesdocks/rust-rcon:latest send version -i {server IP address} -p {server RCON port} -w {RCON passwor}
• monitor: prints RCON raw messages
  docker run -it wallesdocks/rust-rcon:latest monitor -i {server IP address} -p {server RCON port} -w {RCON passwor}
• handle: this function can be used to call an automation handler bash-script for each incoming RCON message.
  docker run -v {your shared folder}:/home/shared -it wallesdocks/rust-rcon:latest handle -i {server IP address} -p {server RCON port} -w {RCON passwor}

  The example handler bash script rcon_handler.sh will be provided in the host shared folder {your shared folder} and can be customized to your needs.
