Create an empty directory to share with the containers (e.g. ~/dockershare) mkdir ~/dockershare

Launch a mongo container docker run -d -v ~/dockershare/db:/data/db --name mongo mongo

Launch a webgme-org container docker run -d -p 8888:8001 -v ~/dockershare:/dockershare --link mongo:mongo --name=webgme -e GME_ADMIN="admin:admin" webgme/webgme-org:2.17.0

Webgme should be available at localhost:8888

⁠Notes

The tags follow the releases of webgme⁠.

The env variable GME_ADMIN will create a siteAdmin admin with password admin if it does not exist. After the first launch - go to localhost:8888/profile/login and change password once logged in.
