⁠docker_sig_app

⁠Installation Steps on Ubuntu 18.04/20.04 LTS

⁠Dockerfile and symfony.conf available in this repository are for example and not used

  1. Install docker

    apt update apt upgrade apt install docker.io

  2. Install docker compose

    sudo curl -L "https://github.com/docker/compose/releases/download/1.26.0/docker-compose-$(uname⁠ -s)-$(uname -m)" -o /usr/local/bin/docker-compose sudo chmod +x /usr/local/bin/docker-compose sudo ln -s /usr/local/bin/docker-compose /usr/bin/docker-compose docker-compose --version

  3. Clone the repository

    git clone https://github.com/Wefactorit/docker_sig_app.git⁠

  4. Start services using docker-compose

    cd docker_sig_app/sigdocapp

    ⁠login to docker hub

    docker login

    docker-compose up -d

  5. Download application files and database

    Download application files and database from backup url

    tar -zxvf

  6. Create and Restore database

    mysql -h -p # get the default password from docker-compose.yml

    ###run below commands on mysql cli

    create database sig;

    grant all on sig.* to siguser@'%' identified by ''; #give password

⁠restore database

mysql -h <serverlanip> sig < database_backup.sql -p

7. Copy application files

Application docker container use volume for web files

#check path of volume

docker volume inspect sigdocapp_app_data

#abobe command will show path of volume

#copy application files from sig directory to volume

#change file permission cd rm -rf app/cache mkdir app/cache chmod 777 app/cache -R chmod 777 app/logs -R

  1. Change database configuration

    change database_host IP in /app/config/parameters.yml file to lan ip of server # if LAN IP is not available then make it db

    Now your application should work
