wesogroup/rdfshape-api repository overview

Important

We have switched our workflow and are now publishing our Docker images to GitHub Container Registry.

Quick reference

Supported tags

  • :stable: Stable build updated manually.
  • <:hashed_tags>: Automated builds by our CI pipeline. With the latest features uploaded to our repository but lacking internal testing.

What is RDFShape?

RDFShape is full web application for semantic data analysis and validation. This image contains the backend part of RDFShape and acts as a queryable API to be consumed by clients. To learn more about our public client, see its Docker Hub page and GitHub repository

RDFShape is a web service service where you can play with:

  • RDF conversion between different formats like Turtle and JSON-LD
  • RDF validation using ShEx (Shape Expressions) and SHACL (Shapes Constraint Language)
  • RDF querying with SPARQL
  • RDFS and OWL inference

Why a docker image?

  • Easier deployment workflows, automated failure checks and recovery actions.
  • No need to setup Scala, SBT, JDK, etc. in order to test the API at your own pace.

How to use this image

Refer to the repository's readme.

Deploying a full RDFShape stack (server & client)

A template docker-compose file is available at our parent repository for users to tweak it according to their needs.

Alternatively, you may get yourself a fully operational RDFShape service using our deployed service or creating a container with the backend and a second container with the client pointing to it.
