⁠Overview

This Docker image provides an Angry IP Scanner instance specifically designed for Peplink x86 Devices. It allows users to perform network scanning and monitoring conveniently.

⁠Default Login Information

  • Username: peplink
  • Password: peplink

⁠How to Run the Docker Container

  1. Access the Web Admin Interface:

    • Open the Web Admin or Remote Web Admin interface for your Peplink router.
    • Navigate to the Advanced tab.
  2. Install the Docker Image:

    • Click on Docker.
    • Click Here to Pull Image.
    • Type in westnetdocker/angry-ip-scanner.
    • Click OK and wait for the image to be installed.
  3. Run the Docker Container:

    • Click the Plus Sign (+) to add a new container.
    • Use one of the following Docker commands:
      • Without a custom password:
        docker run --name nameofcontainer -p 3389:3389 westnetdocker/peplink-angry-ip-scanner
        
      • With a custom password:
        docker run --name nameofcontainer -p 3389:3389 -e PASSWORD=yourcustompassword westnetdocker/peplink-angry-ip-scanner
        
      • Replace nameofcontainer with a desired name for your container.
      • If you do not specify a custom password, the default credentials (peplink / peplink) will be used.
  4. Grab the IP Address:

    • Note the IP address assigned to the container.

⁠Connecting to Angry IP Scanner

  1. Configure InTouch:

    • Open the InTouch interface and click Add.
    • Change the connection type to RDP.
    • Enter the following details:
      • Username: peplink
      • IP Address: The container’s IP address
      • Password: The default (peplink) or your custom password
      • Port: 3389
    • Save changes.
    • Hit the Play Button in InTouch to establish the connection.
  2. Direct Access via RDP:

    • You can also use any Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) client to connect directly to the container.
    • Enter the container's IP address, username (peplink), password (default or custom), and port 3389 to connect.
