wfp2002/beercoin repository overview

Running beercoin node:

docker run -it --name beercoin1 wfp2002/beercoin bash

When attached into beercoin node, execute this commands:

Run for the first time to create a directory and get the rpcuser and rpcpassword using "-printtoconsole" ./beercoind -printtoconsole -addnode=206.189.238.19

Probably the execution will stop. Get rpcuser and rpcpassword generated and paste information in beercoin.conf:

nano /root/.beercoin/beercoin.conf

rpcuser=xxxx rpcpassword=xxxx

Save and exit

Now run again the beercoin node and activate the miner option with gen=1:

./beercoind -printtoconsole -gen=1 -addnode=206.189.238.19

To run in background use nohup: nohup ./beercoind -printtoconsole -gen=1 -addnode=206.189.238.19 > /dev/null &

OR TRY like "daemon" not "nohup": ./beercoind -daemon -gen=1 -addnode=206.189.238.19
