IceProd is a distributed workload management and provenance system, designed to work with collections of batch jobs.
This container is primarily focused on the server-side, and is likely missing things for running an IceProd job.
Releases and master are tagged like such:
wipac/iceprod:latestwipac/iceprod:v2.5.4wipac/iceprod:v2.5.3The image is based on python:3, the Debian variant, with needed dependencies installed. For running various scripts or modules, bind mounts may be necessary, as detailed below.
To run any module, the IceProd config file must be bind-mounted in at /etc/iceprod-config.json.
If you are starting a module that has an http server (the REST service, website, etc), you need to make sure that port is open to the container.
Some modules, such as the REST service, require access to MongoDB. Make sure it is accessible from the container network.
For some services, gridftp interaction is required. This requires more involved bind-mountings:
Bind mount your x509 certificate:
Bind ~/.globus on the host to /home/iceprod/.globus in the container.
Bind mount CA certificates:
Bind /etc/grid-security on the host to /etc/grid-security in the container.
