The original motivation for this custom build — automatic removal of empty parent directories upon file deletion — has now been officially merged into the main SilverBullet repository.

This image (wzaldivar/silverbullet:v2) will remain available for experimentation and testing, but for production use, you can safely switch to the official SilverBullet release.

Custom build of SilverBullet:

Automatically removes empty parent directories after deleting a file.

Useful if you organize notes in deeply nested folders and want to avoid leftover empty directories (a common issue when renaming or deleting deeply nested files).

Examples:

Based on the official v2 release; only change is in file deletion logic (core-level, not plugin).
