`snapcraft` in a simplified docker image
4.8K
This repo hosts snapcraft image to build snaps.
Make sure to match snap base with image tag, e.g. base: core24 should
be built with yakshaveinc/snapcraft:core24 image.
It is a fork from official https://github.com/canonical/snapcraft-rocks
images that adds /workdir WORKDIR and removes extra runner in front of
snapcraft. This allows to see the full output directly, and make
images compatible with helper scripts that use /workdir convention.
Only :core24 images are built for now.
docker run -it --rm -v "$PWD:/workdir" yakshaveinc/snapcraft:core24
podmanFor podman I've tired of running into SELinux issues, so I've created
a helper to turn it off and mount /workdir automatically.
https://github.com/yakshaveinc/linux/blob/master/bin/runin-podman.sh
runin-podman.sh yakshaveinc/snapcraft:core24
The image is created automatically by this Cirrus CI job
For feedback and issues
core18 and core20 images were built from very old sources, and are no longer
updated. Maybe they don't even work.
To build core20 snap using legacy Docker image.
docker run -it --rm -v $PWD:/src -w /src yakshaveinc/snapcraft:core20 snapcraft
To build core18 snap.
docker run -it --rm -v $PWD:/src -w /src yakshaveinc/snapcraft:core18 snapcraft
