⁠Using Docker

⁠Install docker

⁠Pull this image

sudo docker pull yanjundream/duckietown_simulator

⁠Run image

sudo docker run -it yanjundream/duckietown_simulator byobu #byobu is cool to manage terminal for remote computer. Create terminal use F2

• Now you log in this image. Treat it as a remote ubuntu and do whatever you want.

⁠Run dockietown simulator

• run gazebo cd / source ./start.sh ./run_gazebo.sh

• run server, start another terminal use F2 cd / source ./start.sh python2 ./gym-gazebo-server.py

• see rostopic, start another terminal use F2 rostopic list

⁠Using Singularity (Not need sudo anymore)

⁠Install Singularity

http://singularity.lbl.gov/quickstart⁠

⁠Run container

singularity run --containall docker://yanjundream/duckietown_simulator cd /

⁠Notes

• for byobu, F3 is to switch to terminal window in left, F4 is to right
• If you can not use byobu, run ' sudo docker run -d -p 7777:7777 --name duckietown -it ' to rename the container at start. This can help to easy assess sudo docker exec -it duckietown bash in a new terminal.
