⁠docx Nginx

docx-nginx is the single public ingress for docx⁠ — a self-hosted, offline-first document management app and file manager.

It is the only container exposed to the host. Everything else — the API, the SPA build, Postgres, Redis, MinIO — runs on the internal docker network and is reached through this proxy.

Browsers always hit http://localhost:${APP_PORT} — no direct service ports.

• nginx-alpine
• Tuned for large file uploads, presigned storage paths, and HMR WebSocket upgrades in dev
• Designed to sit behind a TLS-terminating proxy (NGINX Proxy Manager, Caddy, Cloudflare, etc.) in production

Platform: linux/amd64.

⁠Quick start

git clone https://github.com/YavLabs/docx.git
cd docx
cp .env.example .env
docker compose -f docker-compose.prod.yml pull
docker compose -f docker-compose.prod.yml up -d

APP_PORT (default 8080) is the only port this container binds on the host.
