This is a docker image of Alpine Linux for ArmV8 (hard-float) with all tools to run the telegram python bot, in docker.

I will try to make this image smaller by removing eventually all dev packages. At the moment are needed as the python-telegram-bot==5.0 requires compilation of some parts.
git clone the bot repo on a specific location like /opt/docker-images/welcomebot in my example
pull this image from docker
you can run the app by executing: docker run -ti --name welcomebot --mount type=bind,source=/opt/docker-images/welcomebot,target=/welcomebot welcomebot python3 /welcomebot/bot.py
Notes:
/opt/docker-images/welcomebot ----> is where the git cloned repo of python-telegram-bot is at
/welcomebot ----> is where the bind-mounted on the docker-app.
After the bot is compiled, I was able to lighten up the image and now is reported as 58.2MB
