To run the image, execute the following commands:
docker run -it --rm -v $ANDROID_BUILD_TOP:/src --net host -e "TERM=xterm-256color" --privileged -v /dev/bus/usb:/dev/bus/usb yoda117/aosp_build:latest
where $ANDROID_BUILD_TOP is the root directory of your AOSP/Android-x86 sources.
Then you can
cd /src
source build/envsetup.sh
lunch
to configure and build the AOSP/Android-x86 sources. The USB device mapping also allows you to use adb and fastboot to flash your mobile devices.
The default username and password are both yoda for the image.
Also, you might want to modify the basic git configurations such as user.name and user.email.
Note: to build Android 9 on host machine with kernel 5.18+ (e.g., Ubuntu 22.04) you'll need to make some fixes to the ART runtime.
