This container is simulating s3 user operations on a local share volume populated with files, against ZIOS or any other S3-compatible Object Store.
The container is getting the following env variables:
S3_KEY
S3_SECRET
END_POINT = <zios\s3 url>
SSL_ENABLED= <True\False>
DEST_BUCKET=
SOURCE_DIR=
Args: -D
Entry point: /start.sh
And do the following in loops:
- Create bucket named DEST_BUCKET_1
- Upload all files in SOURCE_DIR to the END POINT (which can be ZIOS, or any other S3)
- List all files in the new bucket
- Download the files to local directory " s3_download\DEST_BUCKET_1 " in SOURCE_DIR
- Delete all files in bucket
- Delete bucket
- Delete local downloaded dir
- Increase DEST_BUCKET name by 1
- Repeat
Notes:
- This container is not creating files, its working on existing files (its ok for this files to change dynamically)
- If you use this container against ZIOS with public IP make sure the zios holds mathching SSL certificate, disable SSL termination on ZIOS and use SSL_ENABLED= False on the container.
- It is possible (and recommended) to run multiple containers simultaneously even with the same SOURCE_DIR, however make sure each one is using different DEST_BUCKET name
