⁠SMTP relay

• Accepts all incoming mail
• Forwards all mail to smarthost

Do NOT open port 25 on this container to the public - this is configured as an open relay and should only be accessible inside your docker environment or secured VPN!

⁠Configuration

All Options are set up via ENV variables:

• RELAY_SERVER - smarthost hostname. must accept STARTTLS connections. may include :port
• RELAY_USER - smarthost username
• RELAY_PASSWORD - smarthost password

⁠Example

Run via command line:

docker run --name relay -e RELAY_SERVER=email-smtp.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com:587 -e RELAY_USER=myusername -e RELAY_PASSWORD="hunter123" zknt/smtprelay

Now any container can link the relay and use it to deliver mail via relay:25:

docker run --link relay some/app
