⁠MEF.DEV API

The platform API service of MEF.DEV⁠ — an Open API Enablement & Monetization Platform for building, deploying and managing enterprise applications around open TM Forum standards (Open API, SID, eTOM). It belongs to the application and orchestration tier of the platform's three-tier component model and is stateless, so it scales horizontally.

⁠Role in the platform

• serves the REST API that the web console (digitalbss/apps⁠) and external clients use: services, namespaces, organizations, users, versions and their configuration;
• hosts backend plugins in the serverless runtime — every function ships as a separate versioned service, and calls between plugins stay inside the runtime;
• keeps its state in the platform database (digitalbss/mssql⁠); the same access token works in the console and in the API.

⁠Run

The container listens on the port set by ASPNETCORE_URLS. Lab templates wire it together with the rest of the platform:

• Docker Compose — github.com/mef-dev/docker⁠ (http://localhost:82)
• Kubernetes (Helm) — github.com/mef-dev/k8s⁠

Production deployment follows the patterns in Platform Architecture⁠: two sites, a highly available Kubernetes control plane, a replicated database.
