⁠MEF.DEV ServiceHost

The integration host of MEF.DEV⁠ — an Open API Enablement & Monetization Platform. Together with the platform API service and the process engine it forms the application and orchestration tier of the platform's component model. Unlike the API service, it is stateful.

⁠Role in the platform

• model-first source code generation (C#) for platform projects;
• online provisioning of service tasks;
• event notification — queues, e-mail and other channels — and custom integration with external systems;
• reads its data from the platform database (digitalbss/mssql⁠) and works as a service provider for the rest of the platform.

⁠Run

The container listens on port 7000 (ASPNETCORE_URLS). Lab templates wire it together with the rest of the platform:
