Here, we present m6A-RegBase, a new bioinformatics framework that systematically annotates putative m6A regulators (writers, erasers, and readers), their upstream transcription factors (TFs), and downstream RNA targets.
The platform integrates a user-friendly database with functional modules to enable efficient mining of m6A-related regulatory networks and is broadly applicable across plant species.
Applying m6A-RegBase to 155 plant species, we catalogued 4,372 putative m6A regulators including 1,707 YT521-B homology (YTH) domain-containing proteins, enabling comprehensive evolutionary analyses of m6A readers.
