⁠RoboSystems

The backend of RoboSystems⁠, an open-source financial knowledge graph platform: the API, the graph database service, the data pipelines, and the background workers. It powers RoboLedger⁠ (accounting and financial reporting) and RoboInvestor⁠ (portfolios and research).

Each tenant gets its own graph database, and every figure keeps its accounting meaning: the element, period, unit, and the calculation structure it belongs to. Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client can query and operate the ledger through the built-in MCP server.

⁠What's in the image

One image, several roles. The command decides which one runs:

It runs alongside PostgreSQL, Valkey and OpenSearch.

⁠Run it

The supported way is the Docker Compose stack in the repository. It pulls this image and the three app images, and starts everything together:

cd robosystems
brew install uv just        # or see the docs for Linux / Windows
just start                  # creates .env from .env.example and starts the stack
just demo-user              # creates a local user and API key

The API is then at http://localhost:8000 (interactive reference at /), and the web apps at http://localhost:3000 to 3002. To build from source instead, comment out ROBOSYSTEMS_IMAGE in .env.
