Server component of gust air gap system.
56
The Gust Server component of the Gust air gapped system downloads selected files from the web and securely holds them for transfer to the client component upon request.
The Server is designed to be deployed outside of the air gapped network on an internet connected machine. It is recommended that the server is isolated either in a dmz or just generally in a suitable location where it can only have two connections, one connected to the internet and second to the gust client (excluding any monitoring or physical security controls).
It is recommended that the Gust Server is deployed with a level of persistence to allow clients to easily locate the server.
There are 2 exposed ports:
11811 - This is the gust transfer port used to connect the server to the client and transfer communications and files securely80 - This port hosts the Gust Server web ui that is used to easily add sources and trigger downloadsIt is optional if you want to deploy volumes and the server will function without them, however if you want access to data files on the host machine you could bind the following volumes:
/apps/gust_server/data/downloads - This directory holds the hash checked download files if you require them on the host device/apps/gust_core/data/logs - This directory allows you to store a local copy of the log fileDownload the corresponding client docker here: https://hub.docker.com/r/samclutterbuck/gust_client
