If you wanna create a kafka MVP quickly, go to Kafka compose file.

The docker image is auto built at https://registry.hub.docker.com/u/yeasy/kafka/.
FROM yeasy/kafka:latest
$ docker run yeasy/kafka
The image is built based on anapsix/alpine-java image.
Download and install kafka.
Config kafka home ($KAFKA_HOME) to /opt/kafka, and add kafka bin to the $PATH.
The workdir is set to $KAFKA_HOME.
This image is officially supported on Docker version 1.7.0+.
Support for older versions (down to 1.0) is provided on a best-effort basis.
